Miss Basketball Showcase

We invite your teams to compete in the 26th Annual Miss Basketball Showcase college exposure tournament on Friday-Sunday, July 9-11, 2021, in Kearney, Nebraska. Miss Basketball has featured teams spanning from North Carolina to Hawaii!

The event is open to 5th thru 11th grade girls teams. All teams will play 4-6 games at the awesome 6,500 seat UNK Health & Sports Center and KCHS Cope Coliseum.

Each year NCAA, NAIA and junior college programs scout the talented Miss Basketball field. Colleges from every major NCAA conference have visited the Kearney event. Alumni have gone on to play all over the country, win national championships and some have gone on to the WNBA!

AGES: Divisions for 5th thru 11th grade girls. Teams must register for the grade level of their oldest player. Players may play on two teams only if they are in two different age groups. Teams may request to play up (please note this on registration).

EVENT FORMAT: All teams are guaranteed four or more games. Teams will compete in pool play Friday-Saturday. Bracket play will be single elimination, with teams playing 1-3 games on Sunday. Games consist of two-16 minute halves with the clock stopping on all whistles.

ENTRY FEE: The nonrefundable entry fee is $395 per team, with great multi-team discounts for programs with 2-4 teams ($375 per team) and 5+ teams ($350 per team) while spots remain available. After May 25, the entry fee is $450 per team.

SCOREKEEPERS & ATHLETIC TRAINERS: We provide scorekeepers for the book & clock for all games and have an athletic trainer on staff during our events.

GAME RULES: Games will consist of two-16 minute halves (stop-clock). No bonus free throws will be shot during the first half, shooting fouls will be, though. Teams will enter the bonus on the 7th team foul of the second half, no two shot bonus on the 10th foul. Each team receives 3 timeouts per game.

MOTELS: We have outstanding lodging partners that are less than 15 minutes from UNK and KCHS. We do not have a “stay to play” requirement.

Mr. Basketball Invitational

We invite your teams to compete in the 30th Annual Mr. Basketball Invitational college exposure tournament on Friday-Sunday, July 2-4, 2021, in Kearney, Nebraska.

The event is open to 5th thru 11th grade boys teams. All teams will play 4-6 games at the University of Nebraska-Kearney Health & Sports Center and KCHS Cope Coliseum.

NCAA, NAIA and junior college programs scout the talented Mr. Basketball field. Alumni have gone on to play in every major NCAA conference, as well as in the NBA, NFL and MLB. Alumni have played for top programs like Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Arizona and more; we’ve had one NBA Rookie of the Year, and alumni have won championship rings in the NCAA, NBA and NFL.

We invite your teams to compete in the 21st Annual Dakota Showcase college exposure tournament on Thursday-Saturday, June 24-26, 2021, at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.

The event is open to 5th thru 11th grade boys and girls teams. All teams will play 4-6 games at Augustana University’s Elmen Center. All five courts are air conditioned and at one site.

Each year NCAA, NAIA and junior college programs scout the talented Dakota Showcase field. Colleges from as far as New Hampshire, Alabama & Alaska have visited the Dakota Showcase.
